Application Security Engineer

Experience: 2 – 5 Yrs Location: Bangalore (Work from office)

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
2-5 years of experience in Web Application Security Testing and SecOps.
Deep understanding of SAST and DAST tools and processes.
Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Top 10 security concepts and common application security risks.
Good at application threat modelling and Applications risk exposure.
Expertise with application pen testing, using tools like Burp or Zap.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Leverage AppSentinels DAST tool to identify potential security vulnerabilities across the application.
Develop understanding of the business logic flaws in the API’s and create workflows to detect malicious attacker behaviour ensuring API security.
Identify the security policy and control for the run time protection of the application.
Review vulnerabilities and security events to identify the impact and false positives.
Help drive remediation of identified security vulnerabilities and security events.
Support our customer’s Application Security Team to identify vulnerabilities using AppSentinels Platform.

Backend Engineer

Experience: 2 – 5 Yrs Location: Bangalore

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in python, node.js, pandas – A MUST
Experience with large-scale production databases
Proven experience with cloud services API and infrastructure for backend deployment, as AWS platform or similar
B.Sc. in computer science or an equivalent

Responsibilities:

End-to-end development and ownership of the team’s microservices, from design to production
Solving diverse complex problems of high scale
Collaborate with Product Managers and Software Engineers to deliver complex products
Analyze and improve performance, scalability and stability of Perfecto products, environments and tools
Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies in the everlasting effort to perfect our products
Lead technical architecture discussions and help drive technical decisions.

Customer Success Engineer

Experience: 2 – 5 Yrs Location: Bangalore

Requirements:

Good in problem analysis, troubleshooting, requirement analysis.
Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Previous experience in implementing the solution in a SaaS environment.
4+ years experience in Customer Support or customer success functions for SaaS products.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of WAF or API Security is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Partner with Customer to configure and implement the AppSentinels products and fully integrate into their security operations.
Research, analyse, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues.
Be the first line of defense in proactively addressing customer needs for technical assistance, coordinating and prioritizing timely resolutions with engineering teams
Develop a comprehensive plan for the typical business challenges faced by customers and common objectives to appropriately map features and associated business benefits to address their requirements

Data Engineer - Ingestion

Experience: 2 – 5 Yrs Location: Bangalore

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, or another relevant field.
Expert level experience with programming languages Java/Scala/Kotlin etc.
Minimum 4 years of experience in building and optimizing ‘Big Data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
Experience with message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable ‘big data’ data stores.
Experience with big data tools: Spark, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Hadoop etc.
Experience with stream-processing systems: Flink, Spark-Streaming, Kafka Streams etc.
Experience with Cloud services such as AWS EC2, EMR, EKS etc is a plus.
Experience with working in Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Build and enhance an optimal real time data pipeline architecture using technologies such as Spark Streaming, Kafka Streams, Kafka Messaging, Elasticsearch and other Big Data technologies.
Identify, design, and implement improvements in the data pipelines to achieve ever higher throughput and scalability.
Work with data scientists and security experts to strive for greater functionality in our core products.
Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
Work within an Agile workflow to organize tasks and collaborate with other team members (Jira).
Work in a Test-Driven Development environment focused on producing reliable, well-documented production code.

Full Stack Engineer

Experience: 2 – 5 Yrs Location: Bangalore

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, or another relevant field.
Expert level experience with programming languages Python/Node.js/Pandas etc
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS.
Expert level experience in software design and API development using JS, HTML5 etc. Great understanding of MV patterns.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms.
Experience with Cloud services such as AWS EC2, EMR, EKS etc is a plus.
Experience with working in Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
Experience with Kafka, Apache Spark is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Product Managers, User Experience (UX), Product Architects to understand requirements for software development in an Agile environment.
Implement front-end and back-end business logic for new features.
Design and develop RESTful services and APIs for internal and external consumption.
Work within an Agile workflow to organize tasks and collaborate with other team members (Jira).
Work in a Test-Driven Development environment focused on producing reliable, well-documented production code.
Embrace and institute best practices and coding standards (e.g. code reviews, logging and instrumentation, static/dynamic code analysis, code coverage, unit, integration tests) within the team.

UI Engineer

Experience: 2 – 5 Yrs Location: Bangalore

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, or another relevant field.
Advanced skills with HTML, CSS, and React.
Experience with Git and version control software (e.g. Github, Bitbucket).
Experience with documenting and collaborating tools like Jira and Confluence.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and containerized computing.

Responsibilities:

Work on existing code bases to contribute feature requests in Angular and React and relevant framework/libraries, HTML, CSS.
Communicate with product management and UX designers to collaborate on UI requirements.
Research, evaluate, and recommend solutions and appropriate technology to meet user’s needs.
Work within an Agile workflow to organize tasks and collaborate with other team members (Jira).
Work in a Test-Driven Development environment focused on producing reliable, well-documented production code.
Document application functionality, requirements, and procedures to leave application code easier for future developers to use.
Develop techniques such as A/B testing to produce scalable feedback.
